Moira Guest House is Northern Ireland’s 500th WorldHost Business

WorldHost NI is leading the way for customer service excellence across Northern Ireland, with Moira Guest House becoming the 500th WorldHost Recognised Businesses. This is an incredible achievement for the property as well as the entire WorldHost NI Community including the trainers, business proprietors and participants themselves.

As the first business to attain the award in Moira, Moira Guest House has certainly shown that it is prepared to go the extra mile in customer service, assisting guests to plan their visits in terms of airport collections, itinerary planning and weekend adventure packages.  Dogs can now also be catered for by special arrangement.

Alderman Allan Ewart presents award

Alderman Allan Ewart, Chairman of Lisburn Council’s Economic Development Committee,  visited the premises to present Bill Trimble and Timothy McStay with their WorldHost plaque, remarking: “It is excellent news that this extensively restored and modernised guest house in the centre of historic Moira has attained the high standard of WorldHost.  This is an official acknowledgement of a local business’s investment in ensuring all their guests have a great experience; and receive the attention and service they deserve from the polite and courteous staff.”

“I hope that being recognised as a WorldHost Business will attract new customers to this 10 en-suite room accommodation facility; and that existing customers will return on a regular basis.  The tourism industry is very important to Lisburn City Council and it is delighted to be able to publicly acknowledge the high achievements of tourist facilities.”

Comfortable rooms and warm welcome

“Timothy and Kristina have done a fantastic job in creating this quality facility offering a varied breakfast menu to be enjoyed by guests after a great night’s sleep in one of their comfortable rooms.  Keep up the good work!” concluded Alderman Ewart.

Well done once again to Moira Guest House and to the other 499 WorldHost Recognised Businesses across Northern Ireland’s nine Tourism Destinations as they each embark on their own unique journey towards WorldHost Destination Status.
