High performing teams exhibit accountability, purpose, cohesiveness, collaboration and much more.
Leading and developing teams is very much part of organisational life and the benefits of team working have been recognised for many years. Those organisations who implement team working have seen these benefits in terms of improved motivation and staff development.
This course will take you through the techniques of leading and developing teams and how the techniques can be usefully applied in the workplace. It will also help you understand your own role within the team as well as that of other team members. If you are a team leader or manager it will help you to develop your team so that you can meet your team and organisational objectives.
Through activities, group discussion, questionnaires, self-assessment and case studies you will understand more about how you work in teams and your style in leading them as well as how you could develop your skills in these areas.
