Your people are your most important asset for your business and like any asset, they need looking after. Training is one key element and that’s where we can help your business, both online and face-to-face

What is online training?

Online training is a way to deliver a course via a digital platform where the trainer is in one location and the course delegates are in another. They connect using software such as Zoom, Go to Meeting or Microsoft Teams.

How is online training different to face-to-face training?

The trainer and the delegates are not in the same physical room but they are still able to see each other and talk to each other. The trainer can share his/her screen with the delegates eg a powerpoint presentation can be shared.

What are the benefits of online training?

With the COVID-19 pandemic, it is safer to attend online training as there is no risk of picking up the virus from other attendees or the trainer. As with face-to-face training, you still have the opportunity to engage with the trainer and other delegates.

What equipment is needed?

The delegates will need a phone, tablet or computer preferably with a camera and a microphone. Internet access is also needed.

How long do the sessions last?

As it is challenging to stare at a computer screen for long periods of time, we limit each session to an hour. If a course lasts more than an hour, it is broken up into two sessions each lasting one hour each.

Which online training courses do you offer?

We currently offer the following online training courses:

The Basics of Customer Service (one hour)

Customer Service on Social Media (two hours)

Complaint Handling Training (three hours)

SEO for Beginners (one hour)

How to write professional customer service emails (one hour)

Delivering Customer Service Face-to Face (one hour)

Are the courses for groups or individuals?

Both – individuals can book on to an open course with attendees from other organisations. Inhouse courses can also be organised for groups of people from the same company. Training material would be tailored so that it meets the needs of the organisation.
